"Trial-court experience is crucial for a Superior Court judge, and prosecutor
TIM BRADSHAW has a lot of it: 125 Superior Court jury trials, far more than his opponent for Position 1...Bradshaw is rated "Exceptionally Well Qualified" by the King County Bar Association and colleagues speak well of him. He has had many dealings with the press and is considered a straight shooter. His calm manner will serve him well in the courtroom. We endorse Bradshaw."

Family

Bradshaw grew up in South King County. Tim lives with his wife and young son in Seattle.

I am honored by the endorsement of the Incumbent Position 01 Judge, the Honorable Charles Mertel.  It is also an honor to receive the King County Bar’s only top rating in this race, and the Washington Women Lawyers only “Highly Qualified” Rating, and Highest in this race.

Trial Experience in Superior Court matters. As the one candidate to have tried well over 100 Superior Court jury Trials, and the only to have argued in the WA Supreme Court, my working knowledge and understanding of this Court are unmatched. For two decades, I’ve proudly represented this community and the victims of murderers, batterers, rapists, child molesters, sexually violent offenders, and convicted the killers of a Newcastle Police Officer and Seattle Firefighters.

I offer proven Superior Court experience, Civil and Criminal. Indeed, I am the ONLY candidate to:

  • Have tried both civil and criminal jury trials in the Superior Court
  • Endorsed by BOTH parties Central Committees
  • To prosecute domestic violence and sex predators
  • Endorsed by the Incumbent Position 01 Judge
  • Endorsed by Court of Appeals judges
  • To have argued in the WA Supreme Court

It has been my unique, good fortune to have learned firsthand from great Superior Court Judges. This service--an entire professional career of public service devoted to the County I grew up in-- has prepared me to manage Department 01 with respect for jurors as well as all participants.
